L Mayúscula

L Mayúscula L mayúscula is a project that pursues the classification, documentation and preservation of the commercial graphics and graphic heritage of the province of León.

The project is part of the Iberian Network in Defense of Graphic Heritage, a network of citizen cooperation that seeks to disseminate, catalog, guard and rescue the graphic heritage of our streets and neighborhoods.

Since the launch of L Mayúscula, in March 2021, they have catalogued, documented and published 140 signs, in a journey through León capital, Villablino, Cistierna, Sahagún, Santa María de Páramo, Valencia de Don Juan, Astorga, La Robla, Torre del the Bierzo, Benavides de Órbigo and many other municipalities where they have found true jewels of signage and commercial graphics.
