The writer Ana Santamaría, from León, presents her book Filo this Friday, 4th November, at 19:30 in Espacio Yvium – El Cafelito.

There is a trivial and everyday grotesqueness, a homely and familiar grotesqueness, in dressing gowns and slippers, in which the world settles. But it shows the desolation of humble people, of ordinary people who want to escape from their fortune and who time and again find themselves in situations they would not like to be in, but which they accept as inevitable.

Chances and coincidences, together with forced destinies, mingle and make up a human panorama. “Javier Dámaso”.
